By utilizing deoxycholic acid, the naturally occurring molecule that aids in the breakdown and absorption of fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin or in the abdomen, Kybella works to destroy the fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in the treated area. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat thus eliminating the need for further treatments.
